My test keeps getting stuck on a loading screen.
I am trying to take my exam, but every time I launch the test, I get stuck on a loading screen. What do I do?
The issue you are experiencing could originate from several places. The first thing you should do is try updating your browser. Once you can confirm that your browser is up to date, relaunch the exam using your original test link.
If this continues, try clearing your browser's cookies/data cache. This should allow the browser to load the page correctly and allow you to take your exam. Below are instructions that will assist you with this process:
Google Chrome instructions:

Copy and paste this link into your browser: chrome://settings/clearBrowserData

Change the dropdown menu to say "All Time"

Uncheck the boxes for "Browsing History" and "Cookies and other site data"

Ensure that ONLY "Cached images and files" is checked.

Click the "Clear data" button

Once your browser finishes working, go back to the tab you have TestGenius open in and press CTRL + SHIFT + R to refresh the page.
Microsoft Edge instructions:

Copy and paste this link into your browser: edge://settings/clearBrowserData

Change the dropdown menu to say "All Time"

Uncheck all of the checkboxes except for "Cached images and files"

Ensure that ONLY "Cached images and files" is checked.

Click the "Clear now" button

Once your browser finishes working, go back to the tab you have TestGenius open in and press CTRL + SHIFT + R to refresh the page.
Lastly, if this issue continues, try taking the exam on a private/incognito browser. These browsers do not save your browsers data and should allow you to take your exam. You can also switch to an alternative browser to take the exam as well.
