The Microsoft Office exam is zoomed in too much
I am trying to take the Microsoft Office exam and the page is not displaying everything correctly.
The issue is due to the computer screen size you use when taking your exam. You will want to check your computer's Scaling and Resolution:
You will want to adjust your zoom to be at 100% by following the instructions below:
For Windows Computers:
- Click on the "Start menu" button on your computer's Taskbar
- Click on the "Settings" tab
- Click on "System"
- Click on Display
- Scroll down to "Scale and Layout"
For Mac computers/MacBooks:
- Click on the Apple menu icon
- Go to System Settings
- Click on Display
- The resolution will be displayed under the computer image next to "Looks like..."
For Chromebooks:
- Click on the clock in the bottom right corner of your screen
- Click the gear icon (Settings)
- In the Settings menu, click on Device
- Select Displays
- Look for the "Display Size" section.
- The resolution is usually displayed in the format "Width x Height" (e.g., 1366 x 768)
This will tell you your computer's scale and layout. You will want to ensure that your computer's Resolution is at least 1440 x 900, and your Scaling is at 100%
An alternative option is to adjust the zoom within your browser to 75 - 90%. This will allow the test to display correctly while taking the exam. Below are instructions on how to adjust your Zoom in your browser:
In Chrome/Edge:
- Click on the three dots in the right-hand corner of the browser
- Go down to the zoom tool
- Click on (-) or (+) to readjust the size of the screen
In firefox:
- Click on the three lines in the right-hand corner of the browser
- Go down to the zoom tool
- Click on (-) or (+) to readjust the size of the screen
